* At 556 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Fresno,
moving northeast at 35 mph.

Hazard... 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

Impact... hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
southwestern Harris County in southeastern Texas...
northwestern Brazoria County in southeastern Texas...
Fort Bend County in southeastern Texas...

* until 845 PM CST.

* At 542 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in
the advisory area. The Rosenberg Police Department also reported
several roads with high water around the city, with additional
locations expected to experience minor Road flooding as these
thunderstorms move east. Up to two inches of rain have fallen so
far.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
northwestern Pasadena, Pearland, Sugar Land, Missouri City,
Rosenberg, Stafford, South Houston, Bellaire, West University
Place, Richmond, Galena Park, Jacinto City, Manvel, Hunters Creek
Village, Bunker Hill Village, Piney Point Village, Astrodome area,
Spring Valley, greater Fifth Ward and First Colony.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

* winds... increasing Saturday night into Sunday... west to northwest
25 to 35 knots with gusts up to 45 knots.

* Seas... increasing late Saturday night into Sunday... 5 to 7 feet
nearshore and 8 to 11 feet offshore with occasional heights up
to 14 feet offshore.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A gale watch is issued when the risk of gale force winds of 34 to 47
knots has significantly increased... but the specific timing and/or
