... Red flag warning in effect from 11 am to 7 PM MST Monday for
strong winds, low relative humidity and high fire danger for the
southern portion of fire weather zone 151...

The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a red flag
warning, which is in effect from 11 am to 7 PM MST Monday. The
Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* Affected area... the southeast half of fire weather zone 151
including the Catalina, Rincon, huachuca, Whetstone and Santa
Rita mountain ranges.

* Timing... the warning is in effect from 11 am MST Monday morning
through 7 PM MST Monday evening.

* Winds... sustained 20-ft southerly winds less than 10 mph Monday
morning will shift to the southwest and increase to 15 to 25 mph
with gusts to 40 mph in the afternoon.

* Relative humidity... relative humidity will quickly decrease to
less than 15 percent by midday Monday, with minimum values of 5
to 10 percent in the late afternoon.

* Impacts... any fires that develop or are ongoing will have the
potential to spread rapidly, especially in areas with a high
dead grass Load.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or are expected to develop. A
combination of strong winds... low relative humidity... and dry
vegetation will create the potential for rapid and erratic fire
growth.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of the red flag warning for portions of Southeast Arizona.

... A red flag warning in effect from 11 am to 7 PM MST Monday for
strong winds, low relative humidity and high fire danger for fire
weather zone 152. A Fire Weather Watch has been issued from
Tuesday morning through Tuesday evening for strong winds, low
relative humidity and high fire danger for the southeast half of
fire weather zone 152...

The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a red flag
warning, which is in effect from 11 am to 7 PM MST Monday which
replaces the previous Fire Weather Watch. A new Fire Weather
Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch is in effect
from Tuesday morning through Tuesday evening.

* Affected area... most of fire weather zone 152 including
elevations above 5000 ft are covered by the warning. The watch
is primarily for the southeast half of the zone and includes the
Chiricahua Mountains.

* Timing... the warning is in effect from 11 am MST Monday morning
through 7 PM MST Monday evening. The watch is in effect from 10
am MST Tuesday morning through 7 PM MST Tuesday evening.

* Winds... sustained 20-ft southerly winds less than 10 mph Monday
morning will shift to the southwest and increase to 15 to 25 mph
with gusts to 40 mph in the afternoon. On Tuesday, westerly
winds will begin to increase around 9 am MST. Peak 20-ft winds
of 15 to 25 mph and gusts to 40 mph will occur during the late
afternoon hours.

* Relative humidity... relative humidity will quickly decrease to
less than 15 percent by midday Monday, with minimum values of 5
to 10 percent in the late afternoon. On Tuesday, expect slightly
higher relative humidity, although minimum values in the
afternoon will still be between 10 and 15 percent.

* Impacts... any fires that develop or are ongoing will have the
potential to spread rapidly, especially in areas with a high
dead grass Load.
