The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a

* small stream flood advisory for...
east central Pecos County in southwestern Texas...
northeastern Terrell County in southwestern Texas...

* until 1045 am CDT

* at 750 am CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding in the
advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen,
with the runoff possibly affecting portions of State
Highway 349, from 2 to 4 miles west of Sheffield.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sheffield.

This includes low water crossings locations Independence Creek and
Deer Canyon Rd crossing Pecos River.
