... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 5 PM this
afternoon to 5 PM PDT Saturday above 7000 feet...

* snow accumulation... 5 to 9 inches.

* Elevation: above 7000 feet.

* Timing... snowfall will begin this evening. The heaviest snowfall
is expected between midnight tonight and 11 am Saturday.

* Winds... southwest 10 to 20 mph gusting to 30 mph Friday evening,
shifting northwest 10 to 15 mph Saturday.

* Impacts... the snow will make mountain roads and passes slick
and hazardous posing a danger to traffic.
