The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
northwestern Hamilton County in southwestern Ohio...
central Butler County in southwestern Ohio...

* until 830 PM EDT.

* At 552 PM EDT, radar indicated that thunderstorms had produced
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Heavy rain continues to fall with another 1 to 2
inches possible. Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause
flash flooding to occur.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cincinnati, Hamilton, Fairfield, Oxford, Forest Park, Trenton,
Springdale, North College Hill, Wyoming, Cheviot, Mount Healthy,
Finneytown, Cleves, Seven Mile, Taylor Creek, Bridgetown,
Williamsdale, Pleasant Hills, Miami Heights and Skyline Acres.

In addition, places along the following streams may be affected...
Sevenmile creek, Taylor Creek, Briarly creek, and Jordan Creek.

southwestern Butler County in southwestern Ohio...

* until 830 PM EDT.

* At 524 PM EDT, radar indicated that thunderstorms had produced
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Heavy rain continues to fall with another 1 to 2
inches possible. Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause
flash flooding to occur.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hamilton, Fairfield, Ross, Taylor Creek, Dry Ridge, Dunlap,
Colerain township, Reily, Millville, New Baltimore, St. Charles,
Miamitown, Layhigh, Northgate and Groesbeck.

In addition, places along the following streams may be affected...
Indian Creek and Lick Run.

... Flash Flood Watch in effect through Thursday morning...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of Indiana, northern Kentucky,
and Ohio, including the following areas, in Indiana, Dearborn,
Fayette in, Franklin in, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union in,
and Wayne. In northern Kentucky, Boone, Campbell, Carroll,
Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen, and Pendleton. In Ohio, Butler,
Darke, Hamilton, and Preble.

* Through Thursday morning.

* A series of showers and thunderstorms will likely train over the
same area through Thursday morning. This will allow for
rainfall totals up to three inches in places. This rainfall may
result in flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding
occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas,
and be careful when approaching Highway dips and underpasses.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* flood advisory for...
western Hamilton County in southwestern Ohio...
western Butler County in southwestern Ohio...

* until 800 PM EDT.

* At 501 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain had
produced over an inch of rain in less than an hour in parts of the
advisory area. Thunderstorms will continue across the area into
the late afternoon producing more locally heavy rain.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Cincinnati, Hamilton, Fairfield, Oxford, Forest Park, Harrison, North
College Hill, Cheviot, Villa Hills, Mount Healthy, Ludlow,
Finneytown, Ross, Cleves, Seven Mile, Shawnee, Taylor Creek,
Bridgetown, Miami Heights and Dry Ridge.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
