... Strong thunderstorm in northeastern Windham... southeastern
Worcester... western Norfolk... western Suffolk... southeastern
Middlesex and northwestern Providence counties...

At 550 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Northbridge to Pomfret. Movement was northeast
at 25 mph.

Hail up to dime size and winds in excess of 30 mph will accompany
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Worcester, Cambridge, Newton, Somerville, Framingham, Waltham,
Malden, Brookline, Medford, Arlington, Woonsocket, Billerica,
Marlborough, Woburn, Shrewsbury, Cumberland, Natick, Watertown,
Franklin and Lexington.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Get indoors when these storms approach. Winds may be strong enough to
produce minor damage, such as a few downed branches.

Do not drive through flooded roads or underpasses. Avoid low lying
areas near small streams.

These storms may intensity and become capable of producing damage.
