... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until noon EDT today...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Indiana, northern Kentucky, and southwest Ohio,
including the following areas, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette
in, Franklin in, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland. In northern
Kentucky, Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton,
Owen, and Pendleton. In southwest Ohio, Butler and Hamilton.

* Until noon EDT today

* an area of moderate rain will track southeast through the watch
area this morning, affecting metropolitan Cincinnati and areas
to the west and south. Rainfall across the region will be on the
order of an additional half inch, but thunderstorm development
later this morning will potentially bring much heavier rainfall
to isolated locations before they track east and away from the
area by the afternoon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding
occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas,
and be careful when approaching Highway dips and underpasses.
