Wind Advisory
Issued: 5:32 AM CST Jan. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this evening...

* timing... winds will be gusty Monday as strong low pressure
system moves to our east... generally from midnight tonight
through 6 PM Monday.

* Winds... winds will be sustained 20 to 35 mph with higher
gusts... especially for higher elevations.

* Impacts... strong winds can break tree branches or down weaker
trees... particularly in areas with saturated soils due to
recent heavy rains.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
