The Flood Warning continues for
the Lake Fork creek near Quitman.
* From late tonight to Wednesday morning... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 8:15 am Sunday the stage was 8.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early tomorrow and continue to
rise to near 16.7 feet by Tuesday early afternoon. The river will
fall below flood stage by Tuesday afternoon.
* Impact... at 16.0 feet... expect minor lowland flooding problems.
Ranchers that may have cattle and equipment in the creek bottoms
should move them to higher ground.

the Sabine River near Mineola.
* From late tonight until further notice... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 7:15 am Sunday the stage was 6.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by after midnight tomorrow and
continue to rise to near 17.5 feet by early Tuesday morning.
* Impact... at 18.0 feet... expect severe flooding with some barns
facing flooding. Preparations should be completed for moderate
flooding.

Issued: 3:22 PM CDT Apr. 30, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM CDT this
evening...

* event... southwest to west winds of 15 to 20 mph will continue
behind a cold front that moved east across the area earlier
today.

* Timing... until around 7pm, before winds begin to decrease to 5
to 10 mph after sunset.

* Impact... boaters should exercise caution on area lakes due to
rough chop conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
