... High Wind Warning remains in effect until noon akst Saturday...

* location... downtown Juneau... Thane... West Juneau and Douglas.

* Winds... northeast winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts 60 mph.

* Timing... highest winds expected late Friday night through
Saturday morning.

* Impacts... loose objects may be blown around. Blowing snow may
reduce visibility at times. Downed trees and limbs may result
in power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
