... Dense fog advisory now in effect until midnight akst
tonight...

* location... in valleys from Fairbanks to eielson.

* Visibility... one quarter mile or less at time in dense ice fog.

* Timing... areas of dense ice fog will continue through late this
evening. Visibility may briefly improve early this afternoon but
will drop again late this afternoon and evening with increased
traffic with the evening commute.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities are frequently reduced to
near zero. Reduce vehicle speed when driving and use low beam
headlights.
