The National Weather Service in Anchorage has issued a Wind Chill
Advisory... which is in effect from midnight tonight to 11 am akst
Monday.

* Location... Isabel Pass.

* Wind... north wind 15 to 30 mph with gusts as high as 50 mph.

* Wind chill values... 40 to 60 below zero.

* Timing... low wind chill readings will moderate some during the
daytime periods Saturday and Sunday. Winds will diminish and
temperatures moderate by Monday afternoon allowing for advisory
level wind chills to end.

* Impacts... increased risk of hypothermia and frostbite.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frostbite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
