... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 8 am PST
Thursday...

* locations... Republic, Wauconda, Chesaw Road, Highway 20
Wauconda Summit, Boulder Creek Road, Sherman Pass, Eastport,
schweitzer Mountain Road, Leavenworth, Mazama, Twisp,
Winthrop, Stehekin, Conconully, Blewett Pass, Loup Loup pass,
Omak, Okanogan, Brewster, Bridgeport, Oroville, Nespelem,
Disautel pass, Springdale-hunters Road, Orin-Rice Road, and
flowery trail Road.

* Ice accumulations... trace to a tenth of an inch.

* Snow accumulations... an additional 2 to 6 inches... in the
northeast mountains and northern Panhandle those accumulations
will be mainly above 3000 feet.

* Timing... snow is expected to increase this evening and
overnight... mostly above 3000 feet in the northeast mountains
and northern Panhandle, but down into the Okanogan Valley and
Methow Valley and Wenatchee valley as well. Snow will begin to
decrease through Thursday morning.

* Impacts... travel will be impacted by snow and ice over most of
the inland northwest.

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means significant amounts
of snow are expected or occurring. Snow accumulations will make
