The Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of west central Washington... including the following
counties... King... Lewis and Pierce.

* Until midnight PST tonight

* rainfall has decreased to showers across the area and snow
levels are falling. But it is possible that a few rivers in this
area could still reach flood stage. If flooding does occur later
today or this evening, the rivers more likely to reach flood
stage include the Newaukum near Chehalis and the White River
around the r street bridge.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
