... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 5 PM MST /4 PM PST/
this afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect until 5
PM MST /4 PM PST/ this afternoon.

* Snow amounts... 2 to 4 inches, mainly over Baker County and the
northern section of Harney and Malheur counties.

* Winds... east 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

* Timing... snow will begin this morning and diminish this evening.

* Impacts... roads will get fresh snow along with reduced
visibility in blowing snow, creating additional travel hazards,
especially along I-84.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
areas.
