... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to
10 am PST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 1 PM this
afternoon to 10 am PST Tuesday.

* Locations... La Pine... Sunriver... Sisters... Camp Sherman.

* Snow accumulations... 3 to 7 inches with the heaviest amounts
near the Cascade crest.

* Timing... light snow will begin this afternoon. Snow fall will
increase this evening... peaking between midnight and daybreak
Tuesday. Snow showers will gradually decrease through mid
morning Tuesday.

* Impacts... area roadways will become snow covered and slick.
Heavier snow showers could briefly reduce visibility.

* Winds... southwest to west 5 to 15 mph.

* Snow level... valley floors.
