... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4 PM this afternoon to
10 am PST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 4 PM this
afternoon to 10 am PST Tuesday.

* Locations... Bend... Madras... Prineville... Redmond.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 4 inches.

* Timing... areas of snow showers will begin to develop late this
afternoon then increase during the evening. Peak snow fall will
be overnight. Snow showers will become scattered after daybreak
Tuesday.

* Impacts... area roadways will become snow covered and slick.
Heavier snow showers could briefly reduce visibility.

* Winds... southwest 5 to 10 mph.

* Snow level... valley floors.
