Watches & Warnings

Areal Flood Watch
Issued: 10:56 PM PST Feb. 19, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Flood Watch remains in effect through late Monday night...

The Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of southwest Oregon, including the following areas,
central Douglas County, Curry County coast, eastern Curry
County and Josephine County, and south central Oregon coast.

* Through late Monday night

* the heaviest rain will occur along the South Coast and Coast
Range.

* Heavy rain combined with snow melt may cause small streams to
flood. Some roads may become flooded near streams.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
