The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a red flag
warning, which is in effect from 11 am this morning to 11 PM PDT
this evening.

* Impacts: lightning and high fire danger will likely result in
new fire starts. Gusty thunderstorm winds could contribute to
fire spread. Despite rainfall, initial attack resources could
be overwhelmed and holdover fires are possible.

* Area affected by warning: fire weather zone 622.

* Counties affected by warning: Jackson County.

* Thunderstorms: scattered thunderstorms with lightning activity
level of 3. There will be local wetting rains today... but there
will be strikes outside of wetting rains.

this evening.

* Affected area: in southwest or fire zone 623.

* Counties affected: in southwest or... far eastern Douglas...
eastern Jackson... western Klamath.

afternoon and diminish to isolated overnight and then increase
