afternoon above 3000 feet...

* snow accumulations... 3 to 6 inches. Up to 10 inches near
Crater Lake.

* Elevation... above 3000 feet.

* Timing... the highest snowfall rates will occur this morning.
Impacts to roadways will diminish this afternoon.

* Locations include... Siskiyou Summit on Interstate 5... Highway
140 near Lake of The Woods... highways 138 and 230.

* Impacts... moderate to occasionally heavy snowfall could cover
roadways and make travel difficult.
