Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 5:22 AM PST Dec. 8, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the north Oregon
coast and South Washington coast from 8 am this morning to 8 PM
PST this evening...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow and freezing rain remains in
effect from 8 am this morning to 8 PM PST this evening.

* Timing... a mixture of snow... sleet and freezing rain will begin
late this morning and continue into early evening.

* Snow accumulations... snow and sleet accumulations are expected
to be relatively light. The best chance for an inch of snow will
be north toward Astoria and Long Beach.

* Ice accumulations... up to a quarter inch of ice is
possible... especially well inland.

* Impacts... areas inland more than a couple miles will be affected
the most. Travel will be difficult as roads become icy. Some
power disruptions are possible.

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. This will make travel
very hazardous or impossible.
