The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
the island of Oahu in Honolulu County

* until 630 am HST

* at 316 am HST... radar continued to indicate moderate to heavy rain
falling across portions of Oahu, and over areas that have seen a
substantial amount of rain overnight. Flooding of poor drainage
areas is expected to continue and stream levels will remain
elevated until the rains diminish later this morning.

* Locations in the warning include...
the island of Oahu.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding in imminent or occurring in
streams... roads... and low lying areas. Move to higher ground now.

Do not cross fast flowing water in your vehicle... or on foot. Turn
around... Don/T drown.


This warning may need to be extended beyond 630 am HST if heavy rain
persists.

* rain bands around the eastern periphery of Tropical Storm Darby
will continue to bring numerous showers and isolated
thunderstorms to Oahu through noon today... with periods of
heavy rainfall and flash flooding possible.
