The National Weather Service in Pago Pago has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for
all of American Samoa

* until 2 PM SST this afternoon

* moderate to heavy rainfall will continue to move across the
affected area. Residents have reported landslides from the
western district and along the Road from the Village of Pago
Pago to fagasa due to heavy rainfall earlier this morning. An
additional rainfall amount of 1 to 2 inches will heavily impact
homes near mountainous locations across American Samoa as
grounds have become saturated from last night's rain event.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Stay away from the slide area. There may be danger of additional
slides. Exercise extreme caution especially when driving along the
main Road.

flooding across the islands.
