the Navarro river at Navarro.
* Until this afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1:15 am Thursday the stage was 19.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

* Forecast... this river is expected to rise above flood stage of
23.0 ft early this morning then forecast to crest near 24.5 ft this
morning then forecast to fall below flood stage of 23.0 ft late
this morning.
* Impacts... at 23.0 feet... flooding of Highway 128 approximately 5
miles from Highway 1 is certain and the Road will be closed.
Motorists should use alternate routes.

The Flood Advisory continues for the Russian River near Hopland.

* Until Thursday afternoon.
* At 9:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 11.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to near 15.0 feet just after midnight
tonight, then crest near 18.4 feet Thursday morning. The river is
then forecast to recede to near 15.0 feet by late Thursday morning.

... Small Craft Advisory in effect until 9 PM PST Friday...

The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a Small Craft
Advisory... which is in effect until 9 PM PST Friday.

* Winds... south 5 to 15 kt today increasing to 15 to 30 kt with
higher gusts tonight. Winds will be higher near Cape Mendocino
and Point Saint George

* waves/seas... west 13 to 14 feet around 14 seconds today building
to 15 to 18 feet around 15 seconds tonight and Friday. Building
to 24 feet or higher around 18 seconds by Friday night.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A hazardous seas warning means hazardous sea conditions are
imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in
port... or take shelter until waves subside. Commercial vessels
should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in port or
taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
