Impacts: wet slick roads Sunday into Monday
isolated thunderstorms possible Sunday
periods of gusty wind with increased fire threat
         Friday
         few inches of snow accumulation possible at pass
         levels Sunday into Monday

Significant cooling trend begins today and continues into the
weekend as cold low pressure from the Gulf of Alaska approaches
and moves through. Below normal temperatures likely by Friday
with additional cooling of 15 to 25 degrees below normal by
Sunday. Forecast models are showing showers over much of
interior northern California Sunday into Monday with isolated
thunderstorms possible. Periods of gusty wind expected Thursday
into the weekend. Snow levels forecast to lower to pass levels
Sunday with a few inches of accumulation possible over portions of
the higher terrain. Decreasing showers expected on Monday.
