The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 10 PM
PST Sunday.

* Winds... southeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Timing... winds will begin to increase north of Fresno this
evening, then spread south overnight and continue through Sunday
evening.

* Impacts... strong winds may blow down limbs... trees... and power
lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

The National Weather Service in San Francisco has issued a Small
Craft Advisory... which is in effect until 9 PM PST this evening.
A Small Craft Advisory has also been issued from 10 am Sunday to
3 PM PST Monday.

* Winds and waves: see the coastal waters forecast (cwfmtr) or
our marine Page at http://weather.Gov/sanfrancisco/marine.Php
for more details.

* Winds... southeast 20 to 30 kt becoming 30 to 40 kt with gusts
to 55 kt tonight.

* Waves/seas... 20 to 24 feet at 17 seconds.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occuring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
Harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners... especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
