High Wind Watch
Issued: 3:07 AM PDT Mar. 26, 2017 – National Weather Service

... High wind watch in effect from Monday evening through Tuesday
morning...

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a
high wind watch, which is in effect from Monday evening through
Tuesday morning.

* Winds and timing... north winds with the potential of 60 mph
gusts will develop early Monday evening and persist into Tuesday
morning. The winds will be strongest through the I-5 corridor.

* Impacts... winds this strong could damage property.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high wind watch means that conditions are favorable for
potentially damaging winds of 58 mph or greater. Be prepared to
secure all loose outdoor furniture in advance of the onset of
strong winds. Monitor the latest forecasts on NOAA Weather Radio
or your favorite media source.
