Watches & Warnings

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 4:06 AM PST Dec. 6, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am PST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a dense fog
advisory for much of the San Joaquin Valley... which is in effect
until 10 am PST this morning.

* Visibility... less than 500 feet in some locations.

* Impacts... dangerous driving conditions. Dense fog can be very
patchy in nature and can catch a driver off guard. Visibility
can drop to near zero in a very short distance.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced
to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your
low beam headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
