The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory above 5000 feet for snow... which is in effect
from 7 am Friday to 4 am PST Saturday. The Winter Storm Warning
is no longer in effect.

* Accumulations... 4 to 7 inches... with local amounts of up to 9
inches above 5000 feet.

* Locations... Frazier Park... Cuddy Valley... Alta Sierra and Walker
Pass.

* Hazard types... winter driving conditions.

* Impacts... the snowfall will create slick Road conditions.

* Winds... southwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts to around 45 mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.

... Gale Warning remains in effect from 10 am to 9 PM PST Friday...

* winds... southwest to west winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts to 35 kt
are expected when winds are strongest.

* Seas... combined seas of 15 to 18 feet with periods around 15
seconds are expected when waves are largest.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occuring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
Harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means that hazardous sea conditions will
exist for small craft. Inexperienced mariners... especially those
operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these
conditions.
