... Winter Storm Warning for the current storm expired at 10 am
PST this morning...
... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the next storm from
10 PM this evening to 10 am PST Monday...

* locations... southern Sierra Nevada above 4000 feet.

* Hazard types... heavy snow and blowing snow.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 4 feet.

* Winds... southwest 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 70 mph.

* Timing... the heaviest snowfall is expected over the higher
elevations Sunday morning through Sunday evening.

* Impacts... the heavy snow will make many roads impassable and
may produce widespread power outages due to the weight of the
snow on tree limbs and power lines. Strong winds will lead to
blowing snow... reduced visibility... and additional power
outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
