... Heat advisory remains in effect from 11 am Sunday to 8 PM PDT
Monday...

* temperature... highs Sunday in the 80s near the coast to around
95 near The Mesas... and for Monday in the upper 80s near the
coast to upper 90s near The Mesas.

* Impacts... overexposure to heat could lead to heat illness
especially for people at risk... including the elderly and
children. Pets are also at risk.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When
possible... reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or
evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat
stroke. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when
possible and drink plenty of water.
