... High surf advisory remains in effect until 2 am PST Friday...

* surf... 5 to 8 ft with local sets to 10 ft. Swell and surf will
slowly lower Thursday night into Friday.

* Timing... through Thursday night with the highest surf expected
tonight and Thursday morning.

* Tides... high tide near 5.3 ft at 645 am Thursday.

* Impacts... strong rip currents and dangerous swimming conditions.
Sneaker waves may pose a hazard to anyone on exposed rocks or
jetties. Minor flooding possible at susceptible low lying beach
areas during high tide.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high surf advisory means that high surf will affect area
beaches creating potentially hazardous conditions. Anyone
visiting local beaches should use caution and heed the advice of
lifeguards.
