... Wind Advisory in effect from 11 am Monday to 11 am Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 11 am PDT /11 am MST/ Monday to
11 am PDT /11 am MST/ Tuesday.

* Timing... midday Monday through midday Tuesday. Strongest winds
are expected Monday evening and overnight.

* Winds... north or northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to
50 mph are expected.

* Impacts... strong winds may damage or displace unsecured outdoor
structures. Strong Crosswinds will make travel difficult for
high profile vehicles. Strong winds on area lakes will make for
dangerous boating conditions. Localized blowing dust will result
in pockets of low visibility.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means strong winds gusting over 40 mph can make
driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution.
