The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
Orange County in southwestern California...
San Bernardino County in Southern California...
Riverside County in Southern California...

* until 1130 PM PST

* at 832 PM PST, National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
bands of heavy showers occurring in the inland Empire and
extending into Orange County. Due to widespread 1 to 3 inches of
rain across all of Orange County, the inland Empire and into the
northern Coachella Valley today, most streams and creeks will
continue to run very high or flood in low lying areas.

* Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are expected
through 11 PM before tapering off. More showers will occur late
tonight after 2 am and into Monday morning with a cold front.

* Some locations that will likely experience flooding include...
Anaheim, Santa Ana, Riverside, Irvine, San Bernardino, Fontana,
Moreno Valley, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Ontario, Corona,
Orange, Fullerton, Costa Mesa and Temecula.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Flooding can be most dangerous at night and water may be deeper
than it appears. Several high water rescues have occurred in the
warned area.
