... High surf advisory remains in effect until 2 am PST Friday...

* waves and surf... surf building to 5 to 8 ft with sets to 10 ft
this afternoon and continuing through Thursday morning. Swell
and surf will slowly lower during the day Thursday.

* Timing... through Thursday night with the highest surf expected
late this afternoon and evening.

* Tides... high tide of 4.8 to 5 ft at around 610 am today and 5.2
to 5.3 ft at around 645 am Thursday.

* Impacts... strong rip currents and dangerous swimming conditions.
Minor flooding possible at susceptible low lying beach areas
during high tide.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
