... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 am PST Sunday
above 6000 feet...

* snow accumulations... 3 to 6 inches in elevations from 6000
feetto 7000 feet. 8 to 12 inches above 7000 feet with locally
higher amounts.

* Timing... snow intensity and coverage will increase early
Saturday morning. The heaviest snow is expected to occur
during the day on Saturday before diminishing late Saturday
night.

* Winds... southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

* Impacts... snow could create difficult travel conditions late
tonight through Saturday night. This includes US Route 93 and I-80
at Pequop pass. Due to the strong elevation dependence of this
storm, motorists should be alert to rapidly changing Road
conditions if traveling across higher terrain or mountain
passes.
