Las Vegas Valley, Lincoln County, northeast Clark County,

338 am PDT Mon Jul 24 2017

... The flood advisory remains in effect until 645 am PDT for north
central Clark County...

At 337 am PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain had ended over
northern Clark County. However, runoff from earlier rainfall will
still be flowing along the California Wash towards Moapa for the
next several hours. This may be causing water to be flowing over low
water crossings.

Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Valley of Fire Highway southeast of Interstate 15, the California
Wash between Las Vegas and Moapa, and other rural roads north of
Valley of Fire State Park.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
