The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Arroyo and small stream flood advisory for...
central Rio Arriba County in north central New Mexico...

* until 830 PM MDT.

* At 627 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms from around Canjilon to ghost ranch and the
northwest shore of Abiquiu lake. This will cause Arroyo and small
stream flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Canjilon and ghost ranch. This includes Canjilon creek. Beware of
heavy ponding on Highway 84 from Canjilon to ghost ranch.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
