Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 9:52 PM MST Jan. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 am MST
Tuesday...

* snow accumulations... 2 to 5 inches... except 5 to 10 inches above
7500 feet.

* Timing... snow will continue to increase in coverage and
intensity as a cold front crosses late this evening. Snow will
taper off early Tuesday morning.

* Winds... west 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph after sunset.

* Snow levels... cold enough for snow in all locations.

* Local impacts... roads will become snowpacked and icy. Areas of
reduced visibilities in blowing snow will add to the hazardous
travel conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be restricted due to a combination of falling
and blowing snow.
