... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 530 PM MDT for
northwestern Torrance County...

At 447 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
thunderstorms with light to moderate rain continuing between Chilili
and Tajique... including the eastern most portion of the Dog Head
burn scar. Flash flooding has been reported along Highway 337. Three
to four feet of water is rushing over the roadway. Do not drive into
these waters!

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely.

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
north central Torrance County in central New Mexico...

* until 615 PM MDT

* at 421 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms over McIntosh. One inch of rain in
less than one hours time has likely fallen over the area with
another inch of rain possible. Small hail may also be occurring.
This will create minor flooding and runoff along Highway 41 and
other local roads in McIntosh.

* Locations impacted include...
McIntosh.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely.

The heavy rainfall and slow movement of these storms may result in
flooding of Road intersections and low-lying areas. Waters may
begin to run in normally dry arroyos.

southeastern Bernalillo County in central New Mexico...
northwestern Torrance County in central New Mexico...

* until 545 PM MDT

* at 337 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms along a line from just west of
Moriarty... to Chilili... to Tajique... Torreon... and Manzano. Up to
1 inch of rain may fall in less than one hours time... particularly
between Chilili and Tajique... or on the eastern most edge of the
dog fire burn scar.

The heaviest rain is just to the east and southeast of the Dog Head
fire burn scar... however... impacts may be felt across La Jara
Canyon... La Jara Road... Arroyo de Chilili... aceves Road... Arroyo
chinchonte... Manzano morning and Twin Peaks drive... and Highway 337.
