... Red flag warning remains in effect from 11 am this morning to
8 PM MST this evening for strong winds and low relative humidity for the
Coconino Plateau and western Mogollon Rim...

* affected area... the Kaibab Plateau and Grand Canyon country.

* 20 foot wind... southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.

* Relative humidity... falling into the single digits midday
Wednesday through early Wednesday evening.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
