... The small stream Flood Advisory remains in effect until 500 PM MST
for Yavapai County...

At 320 PM MST... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
that heavy rainfall has moved southwest of Crown King and away from
the advisory area. However... as much as 3 inches of rain fell east
and northeast of Crown King earlier in the afternoon. Turkey Creek
and portions of Crown King Road are likley still experiencing some
flooding.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Crown King... Turney gulch group campground and Hazlett Hollow
Campground.

... Significant weather advisory for Gila and Yavapai counties until
415 PM MST...

At 348 PM MST... Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Cherry to 7 miles
southeast of Camp Verde to 6 miles southeast of Childs Power Plant to
near Gisela... and moving south at 25 mph.

Dime size hail will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Camp Verde... Cherry... Middle Verde... Oxbow Estates...
Montezuma Castle National Monument... Deer Creek...
Clear Creek campgrounds and Powell Springs Campground.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms... and may
lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify... so be certain to monitor local radio and
TV stations... as well as local cable TV outlets... for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
