Thursday...

* timing... strong winds developing Thursday afternoon, peaking
during the late afternoon and early evening.

* Winds... southwest 20 to 35 mph with gusts from 40 to 55 mph.

* Impacts... winds this strong can make travel difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Blowing dust could also
reduce visibility over the Little Colorado River valley
including Interstate 40 from just east of Flagstaff to near
Holbrook.
