... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 500 PM MST
for southwestern Cochise County...

At 440 PM MST... National Weather Service meteorologists continued to
detect severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter size hail
and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. These storms were located
along a line extending from 6 miles west of Sierra Vista to near
Sierra Vista southeast... moving south at 15 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Sierra Vista... Sierra Vista southeast... Nicksville... Fort Huachuca...
Ramsey Canyon preserve... Hereford... Parker Canyon Lake and Coronado
National Memorial.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Severe thunderstorms produce damaging winds... destructive
hail... deadly lightning and very heavy rain. For your protection
move to an interior room on the lowest floor of your home or
business. Heavy rains flood roads quickly so do not drive into areas
