Issued: 4:20 AM MDT Mar. 30, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 6 PM this
evening to 6 am MDT Saturday...

* affected area... Sanpete and Sevier valleys.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 5 inches.

* Timing... rain and snow will develop this afternoon and change to
snow this evening, and become locally heavy at times tonight.
Periods of snow will continue Friday through Friday evening
before diminishing. Rain may mix in with snow Friday afternoon
and evening.

* Snow levels... near 8000 feet Thursday afternoon falling to
valley floors by Thursday evening. Snow levels may rise to near
6000 feet Friday afternoon.

* Impacts... occasional winter driving conditions can be expected
across the area including US-89.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that snow accumulations
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads. Use caution while driving.
