Issued: 11:51 AM MST Jan. 22, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 3 PM this
afternoon to midnight MST Monday night...

* locations include the city of... Monticello.

* Timing... snow will redevelop this afternoon and will continue
through midnight Monday night.

* Snow accumulation... 8 to 16 inches with locally higher amounts.

* Winds... southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Impacts... mountain roadways will become snow packed with winter
driving conditions continuing through the middle of the week.
Visibilities will be reduced to under a half mile at times
during the heaviest snowfall.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are
expected or occurring. Strong winds and blowing snow are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
