The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a Fire

which is in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday
evening.

* Affected area... fire weather zone 488 Manti National Forest
and fire weather zone 489 San Rafael Swell.

* Thunderstorms... isolated to scattered mainly dry thunderstorms
mostly during the afternoon and evening hours Saturday.

* Outflow winds... gusty and erratic winds in excess of 50 mph
will be possible with the storms.

* Impacts... the threat of lightning and gusty winds in addition
to very dry conditions will bring the potential of multiple
new fires and explosive fire growth.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Fire Weather Watch means that there is a potential for critical
fire weather conditions. Continue to monitor for the latest
forecasts and for possible red flag warnings.
