... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 3 PM Thursday to 3 PM MST
Friday...

The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a
Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow... which is in effect from 3
PM Thursday to 3 PM MST Friday.

* Affected area... the Cache Valley... the northern Wasatch front
and the Wasatch Mountain valleys.

* Snow accumulations... 6 to 12 inches except 1 to 2 feet in the
Ogden Valley.

* Timing... snow will develop Thursday afternoon... continue heavy
at times through Friday morning before tapering off.

* Impacts... winter driving conditions can be expected across all
routes beginning Thursday afternoon... and continuing into
Friday. This includes the Thursday evening and Friday morning
commutes along the northern Wasatch front.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means that significant
accumulations of snow are expected or occurring. Driving
conditions may be hazardous. Use caution. Keep a winter storm
survival kit in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
