Flood Warning
Issued: 9:16 PM MDT Mar. 29, 2017 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Boise river at Glenwood bridge.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:45 PM Wednesday the flow was 8100 cfs.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 7000 cfs.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 8210 cfs by after
midnight tomorrow. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* Impact... at 8900 cfs... or 11.3 feet, large sections of the green
belt will be submerged and severe bank erosion will occur. Flooding
will occur in low areas close to the river in Boise, Garden City,
Eagle and Caldwell, but the water should remain below the level of
most residential areas. The river will spill over its banks between
45th and 46th street in Garden City into the warehouse district.

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the Snake River near Weiser.
* From Thursday afternoon until further notice... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 2:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 11.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage Thursday afternoon and
continue to rise to near 12.7 feet by Friday afternoon. The river
is expected to remain at or near minor flood stage through the
weekend.
* Impact... at 12.0 feet... flooding of agricultural land near the river
is likely in Malheur County, Oregon and in Washington County,
Idaho. Mortimer Road in Weiser will be flooded.

* from Thursday evening to late Friday night.
* At 1:45 PM Wednesday the stage was 8.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is possible.
* Flood stage is 10.5 feet.
* Forecast... flood stage may be reached by Thursday
evening.
