... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5 am to 11 PM MST
Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory for snow for the west-central and Boise Mountains... which
is in effect from 5 am to 11 PM MST Sunday. The Winter Storm Watch
is no longer in effect.

* Snow amounts... 5 to 9 inches between 5000-7000 ft msl and 9 to
13 inches above 7000 ft msl.

* Winds... westerly about 12 mph or less. Stronger winds along
ridgetops... with gusts 25 to 35 mph.

* Timing... snowfall will begin early Sunday morning with the
heaviest snow expected to occur Sunday afternoon and evening.

* Impacts... snow will accumulate on all mountain roads... creating
a travel hazard. Idaho highways 55 and 21 will become snow-
covered.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will primarily cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
